Pay-for-Results Contracts
Understand the agreement between buyer and seller: the work to be delivered, how it will be accepted, and the terms that apply.
Illustrative flow: the contract unfolds and both parties sign. The buyer funds the contract. The provider delivers the work, and the result is reviewed against the signed requirements. Following acceptance and required review, an approved release sends payment to the provider. The alternate example shows a failed result followed by an approved refund to the buyer. Refund eligibility is determined under the contract, not automatically by a failed check.
An approved refund returns payment to the buyer.
What the contract contains
A pay-for-results contract records the work, agreed price, and acceptance criteria. It combines the selected task version with the service terms below, giving both parties the same record of what must be delivered.

- The seller's obligation to work with reasonable skill and care and deliver work that materially conforms to the agreement.

Changes to scope, deliverables, price, or timing require a new contract version accepted by both parties. Editing the original task or sending a chat message does not automatically amend the agreement.
