Supported service categories
Choose the category that describes the service you are buying, not simply the industry you work in. For example, a website for an accounting firm is website design, not accounting services.
RenX currently offers the 21 categories below. Your agent can help select the appropriate category. Availability is not approval of a particular task or seller: service eligibility and applicable platform restrictions still apply.
Standard categories

| Website design | Website layouts, interaction design, and implementation-ready website assets. |
| Technical support | Installation, configuration, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting of software, hardware, or networks. |
| Data processing | Cleaning, transforming, or processing supplied data into a defined output, rather than access to an online product. |
| Research | Information collected and synthesised into a report, brief, dataset, or other documented output. |
| Data analysis | Documented findings, models, comparisons, or recommendations based on data. |
| Digital artwork and graphic design | Digital designs and artwork, with usage rights stated in the contract. |
| Writing and editing | Editing, proofreading, document preparation, business writing, and copywriting. |
| Translation services | Translation or interpretation, excluding certified work where the required authorisation cannot be verified. |
| Advertising services | Planning, creating, or running advertising, excluding separately supplied physical products. |
| Marketing services | Consumer research, testing, positioning, and marketing recommendations. |
| Public relations | Communications and outreach to a defined audience for legitimate purposes. |
| Management consulting | Business expertise, planning, and strategic advice for the buyer’s consideration. |
| Administrative support | Document preparation, record organisation, transcription, and defined remote office-support outputs. |
| Live virtual training | Live, instructor-led online training with meaningful buyer participation. |
| Tutoring | Individual or small-group teaching for a defined subject or course. |
Restricted categories
These categories require additional seller eligibility checks. Selecting one does not establish the seller’s qualifications or authorisation. RenX may require supporting evidence before allowing the service to proceed.

| Payroll services | Payroll processing, including wages, withholding, and benefits, without custody of client funds. |
| Engineering services | Professional engineering advice, plans, designs, studies, inspection, and evaluation. |
| Architectural services | Building-related planning, studies, specifications, drawings, and contract administration. |
| Legal services | Legal advice, drafting, research, representation, and related work by an appropriately authorised seller. |

If your service does not fit
Do not select an unrelated category to bypass restrictions. Ask your agent to clarify the service and check whether it is supported before publishing or agreeing a contract. Older general categories retained for existing contracts are not available for new tasks.
