Turn an Excel travel report into a Power BI dashboard
Project brief
Build a Power BI view from an Excel Report worksheet without restructuring the workbook. Show change-order counts and travel days by sports cluster, with Management Travel included as a fourth group. Also include domestic and international average nights, a visible reporting date range and a month selector.
The workbook and expected totals will be confirmed before starting. I need a refreshable dashboard, not screenshots of charts. Please mention your experience linking Power BI to existing Excel tables.
Deliverables & acceptance
What you'll deliver
- PBIX dashboard and refresh instructions.
What the result must meet
- The dashboard displays all four clusters and the requested counts, days and average-night figures.
- Month selection and refresh recalculate against the agreed workbook totals without modifying the source layout.
